I teach a martial art: Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. People always talk about "the jiu jitsu lifestyle", and they're sure they understand the nebulous meaning, but I'm not so sure they all have the same things in mind.

Nebulous concepts are funny like that, as you rightly point out.

Perhaps this most succinctly explains why super-majorities in most polls today indicate unhappiness with 1) the economy, 2) the direction of the country, 3) joe Biden, etc.- the respondents are Just Worn Out with the work of all those “choices”.

Never really thought of it this way, that's really thought provoking in some ways, especially as I visited my grandma abroad the other day, and I thought about her life and _why_ she did and stayed "stuck" in the ways she is currently living, when she has so many other "lifestyle options" so to speak, and this might shed some light on that. ^^

You have to perceive the options as ‘feasible’ and enticing...old age definitely works against this to some degree...
