WOW! The non-empathetic, the hard empty shell of the psyche knocking against the metal of their brain has always boggled me completely. Not the strategy - the hollow echo of this person' spirit living just around the corner....
I find these people terrifying myself. I think it is shameful that we actually envy and glorify them and let them walk around with no added supervision. We supervise child molesters more closely…but these folks get off because their damage is largely emotional…until they screw up.
